The Fairways Manor House offers you the unique experience of staying
on a former millionaire's summer estate with quality accommodations
at a reasonable rate.
Situated in the
beautiful historic resort town of St. Andrews By-the-Sea, the
Fairways Estate was formerly acquired by Mr. & Mrs. Edward C.
Walker. Edward Walker was the second son of Hiram Walker, who
was the founder of Canadian Club Whiskey. The Estate was
founded in 1912 and has a history of illustrious owners which
included the author Guy Murchie, as well as the Honorable C. D.
Howe.
The house was
originally listed as a five star inn but the grading had lapsed
when we purchased the property, primarily as a family home. We now
offer Bed & Breakfast in our historic home after being awarded a four
star Canada Select rating.
It
is set on 11 acres which overlook the Passamaquoddy Bay and sits
adjacent to the signature Fairmont Algonquin Golf Course.
